This & That Printable Planner Stickers

This is the latest set of #printable #stickers in my shop. I was playing in my #planner and in the notes section I started various lists that I pretty much have the same titles for repeatedly. I made some headers and icons to that will work in all types of #planners, #notebooks, and #journals. #HappyPlanning! #Scrapcraftastic #eclp #erincondren #ec #kikkik #plumplanner #plumpaper #filofax #filo #colorcrushplanner #colorcrush #travelersnotebook #tn #midori #inserts

Summer Vacation Roundup: Hauls and Projects

So much has happened in my life personally and creatively over the last few weeks. New to paper crafting, planning, and all things "dori", I still haven't been able to establish a routine of crafting and planning that works with my business and family life.

My DIY Planner

Today is the first day that I'm officially using my DIY planner. I've made a few entries, but I know that I want to further customize each day of the week to work for me.

I would like to schedule multiple actcities for my crafting and my graphic design. I also need to have room for personal activities. I knew going in that a prefab planner wouldn't work for me. I hope to sort out a custom layout for my 2016 pages soon. I also need to develop a color scheme. I like pink A LOT but it's not doing it for me with this planner.

I did a little craft shopping for the pet album I'm working on today, and I picked up a roll of black Kraft-tex from Hobby Lobby. I originally wanted to use it for the cover of the album, but it was too thick for my design.

After looking at photos on the packaging, I had one of those great ideas of mine. I can use the Kraft-tex to create a cover for my 2016 planner! All I need is the binder rings and I will have complete control over the size and design of my planner! I don't know why I have the need to make everything. Maybe it's the control freak in me.

I'm not happy with the hard cover binder on my planner now, so switching to the durable and flexible Kraft-tex cover will be great! I can even make my own pockets on the inside cover.

Have you created anything with Kraft-tex?

Holiday Weekend Haul

I experienced a bit of a crafting drought in April and most of May, but finally finishing Deisha's mini album and giving it to her has sparked my crafty creativeness.

I've visited my usual crafting stomping grounds during my drought but I didn't buy anything. Nothing was speaking to me, but a commission to create a pet themed mini album, with a masculine feel, along with a spur of the moment trip to Joann's, and I could feel my mojo coming back.

I stopped at Hobby Lobby for glue and, after visiting the clearance section, I knew I had my crafty side back.

And really, since Tuesday Morning was on the way home, there was no reason to pass by without stopping, was there?

With all that has been going on in my life, it really felt good to feel that passion for crafting again.

What do you do to overcome a crafting slump?

Tuesday Morning

Imagine my surprise when I heard Tuesday Morning mentioned as a craft supply source in a mini album video I was watching!

Spring Break and Haul Roundup

We spent Spring Break in Georgia again this year.  I think it's becoming a tradition for the kids, because they expect to go to every year.  While we were away, I discovered that my Mom really loved the DCWV Black Currant papers that I was using to make a Mini Album for my Niece. I also found out that the papers had been discontinued, so I wanted to pickup another stack so I would have enough to make a Mini Album for my Mom too. My oldest daughter had already put in her request for a toilet paper roll Mini Album using Black Currant, so I wasn't sure I had enough.
